Something that's been bothering me a while is the fact that my original "Pinkie Pie is Watching You" poster is the most popular thing in my gallery. It's a fun idea, but the poster is a bit on the low effort side. The idea deserves a little more than what I first put into it.

In the interest of improving, I decided to redo the poster completely from scratch. I redrew Pinkie from scratch to try to get a more imposing look from her. Instead of using the original Big Brother is Watching You from 1984 as a reference, this one is more in the spirit of
Glenn Grothe's He's Watching You, one of the more misunderstood pieces of art done for the Office of War Information. Like Loose Lips Sink Ships, the poster was trying to inform people about the dangers of careless talk about war information by showing an imposing enemy soldier observing them. Unfortunately, the image's overly stylized depiction of a soldier caused confusion - some interpreted him to be their employer, others thought it meant the US Government itself, as the helmet resembled the Liberty Bell. The reaction towards that poster lead the OWI to change its direction in posters to make them clearer and more direct, like magazine advertisments.
You can now buy this on a shirt online or in store at Hot Topic! [link]
I will not rest until I have this T-Shirt.
Gonna wait the weekend, then suggest it again, I guess.
